The Consumer Localization team is responsible for translating and localizing product listings into multiple languages and making them available for sale on all of our global eCommerce sites.
We translate at scale using leading edge machine translation engines, and post-edit high performance products to ensure perfect translation quality for a select group of products.
We run a system which interacts with many of Amazon’s core technologies, including detail page, catalog, pricing, fulfillment, compliance, and seller and customer service.
Our stakeholders include every international marketplace and a number of major cross-marketplace programs. If you’ve bought something on Amazon in the past, you have probably seen some of our work.
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to help us grow and operate our global post-editing business, based in our European Headquarters in Luxembourg.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding customer and business needs, specifically related to translation quality and its impact on customer experience, purchase behavior and wider network impacts for Amazon.
You will need to gather understanding to prioritize product features and technical requirements that drive our product roadmap and adoption forward.
You will work closely with Business Intelligence, executives and engineering leaders to set strategy, define the priorities, and make the hard, high-
judgment trade-offs between features and time-to-market.
