Within the University, the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is a highly interdisciplinary research centre (IC), integrating experimental biology and computational biology approaches in order to develop the foundation of a future predictive, preventive and personalized medicine.
The new team member will take care of and support the lab team in chemical risk management and lab safety aspects. Other activities include the support of the quality organisation based on her / his experience and set of competencies.
The EHS officer will contribute to provide a safe and efficient lab environment to the researchers as well as provide general support for the laboratory.
He / She will work under the supervision of the LCSB Q&EHS team leader.
Main activities :
In close collaboration with lab staff members, the LCSB support team, and in compliance with the law, contribute to Q&EHS management system :
Identify and develop appropriate corrective actions.
identify needs for training, contribute to develop trainings for the lab team
