Your Role

The successful candidate will join the Computer Vision, Imaging and Machine Intelligence Research Group (CVI2) headed by Prof.

Djamila Aouada. He / she will support the research team by transforming the research results to real time algorithms / applications with respect to predefined topics in the field of computer vision.

The position holder will be required to perform the following tasks :

  • Collaborate with team members to build and develop computer vision algorithms / applications.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure performance.
  • Provide support in setting up and running experiments in the SnT Computer Vision laboratory.

    Your Profile

  • 3+ years of professional computer vision software development experience.
  • Proven experience in supporting and working within a Computer Vision research lab, including support with data collection and implementation of state of art Computer Vision algorithms.
  • Strong background in software engineering
  • Background in image processing, computer vision, and / computer graphics.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Sound knowledge about deep learning libraries : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe.
  • Strong mathematical background.
  • Commitment, team working and a critical mind.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • Knowledge in 3D human skeleton estimation and its applications is a plus.
