For the expansion of our IT Team we are looking to recruit a LIMS Software Engineer (m / f) Permanent contract, 40 hrs / week Mission : Laboratoires Réunis is looking for a Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) Engineer.
You will be part of a dynamic IT Team in the fast-developing healthcare industry of Luxembourg. In your role as LIMS engineer, you will work in close contact with our laboratory experts to develop our core system with them together.
You will be part of the most important initiatives of Laboratoires Réunis. What you’ll do as a LIMS Software Engineer : Apply your strong knowledge of the Life Science industry for implementing software systems, such as GLIMS to support the laboratory environment by improving efficiency and promoting collaboration.
Design, implement and maintain the LIMS system Gather and analyse requirements from the laboratory specialist and implement them into the LIMS Implement change request into the LIMS Ensure the testing and good implementation into production Train the LIMS end user Create statistics inside LIMS and directly in the database What we are looking for : Approx.
3 years of experience in working with a LIMS or in a laboratory IT environment You can program and test code in a LIMS system Ability to analyse needs, troubleshoot and able to work on problem-
solving solutions You are familiar with technologies and software like (or open minded to fast learn) : GLIMS from MIPS, HL7, XML, SQL and NoSQL databases, JAVA / J2EE and Microservices Writing technical and user documentation Ability to work effectively in a team, improve the skills of the team and train by yourself Self-
