POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for analysis of requirements, design, coding and verification of product software for power electronics control modules according to Automotive SPICE process in the area of AUTOSAR architecture.

Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development team working on projects involving multiple locations.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs analysis of software requirements

Performs software design

Generates software code for real-time embedded systems either by manual coding, configuration of AUTOSAR modules or autocoding of SIMULINK models

Perform software verification on test bench and vehicle

Generates software documentation : design, test plans, test results

Provide software development support to BorgWarner and customer on test trips

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

Engineering degree; 4 plus years of experience in Automotive Engineering

4 or 5 years University degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Good knowledge C languages

Previous work experience in the following Automotive areas :

Software engineering for real time embedded systems

Automotive electronics

Matlab / Simulink

Must be detail focused and have good communication skills

Good analytical and problem solving capability

Fluency in English is required
