ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
In this position you will be responsible for developing code for an exciting project that will be key to plan and optimize SES satellite capacity for SES most advanced fully digitalised satellites, the new O3b mPOWER constellation, and SES-17 satellite to start.
You will leverage your wide range of both front and back-end technical experience and be able to effectively communicate software designs to colleagues and team members as well as management.
You will be a part of the foundation of all processes in software development, will contribute and shape to all aspects of the solutions developed in the team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
Design, develop, and execute high quality full-stack software solutions to address business needs
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Switch between front-end development and back-end development as required
Design user interactions on web pages
Develop back-end website applications
Create servers and databases for functionality
Ensure responsiveness of applications
Perform software unit testing, automated testing and integration
Maintain existing software codebases by addressing bugs and fulfilling change requests
Understand and leverage existing APIs and write effective APIs
Ensure compliance with IT development and security guidelines and standards
Automate the development lifecycle by employing Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Deployment (CD)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience is a plus
5+ years of experience working across the full stack of enterprise web-based cloud applications
Highly experienced working across the .NET stack with MS Azure
