Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets is part of Macquarie Asset Management and is seeking an experienced Tax specialist with your experience to join our Luxembourg-based team.
The role offers a high level of responsibility to the successful candidate, being embedded within Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Asset’s business and working across a broad spectrum of tax matters in support of transactional and ongoing business activities.
Your responsibilities will extend across tax compliance, reviewing a mix of corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing reports, and working closely with other members of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Asset’s tax team (in particular with a senior tax team member based in Luxembourg and other tax team members in London) to deliver transaction tax structuring advice and tax planning, pre- and post- transactions.
You will also be required to liaise with, and coordinate, local services providers including administrators and tax advisors, to deliver the tax requirements for the production of financial statements, monitoring and reporting of relevant tax law changes, and where necessary, handling tax authority audits.
You will have approximately 8 years of experience in international and Luxembourg taxation and an understanding of, and interest in, tax structuring, you will be degree educated or hold an equivalent certification in Tax law.
You will be fluent in both French and English with the ability to interact effectively with contacts both within and outside Macquarie at various seniority levels.
You have intermediate or advanced skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. You are highly organised with the ability to work independently and pro-actively as well as within a team.
You will need to be able to manage multiple work streams in parallel against deadlines.
