Your

As a member of the Web Development team (3 people), which is part of the Application team (20 people) in the IT Department, you will be responsible for the maintenance, bug resolving, monitoring and support of the University’s websites and CMS (Wordpress, Moodle, Sharepoint, Ez publish, Limesurvey).

Your

Maintain, resolve bugs and monitor existing sites,

Provide support to end-users,

Create and configure new Wordpress sites,

Update, upgrade and patch systems (Linux) in timely manner,

Create technical and user documentation,

Collaborate with multiple teams,

Propose ideas for system improvements.

What we expect from you

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent by work experience,

Experience in Web administration or Web development,

Skills and experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, SQL,

Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), and experience in installing and configuring web server,

Knowledge and experience with Git is an asset,

Oral / written communication skills in French and English,

Able to work with minimal guidance,

Being helpful, respectful, team oriented and keeping others informed,

Aware of standards and best practices,

Ease of contact and team-spirit,

Enjoy sharing your knowledge and support colleagues in developing their competencies,

Ability to work in a multifunctional team.

Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract 24 Month

Work Hours : Full Time 40.0 Hours per Week

Starting date : As soon as possible
