We are currently looking for Automotive and QA Engineer to join our team in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. On this position you will :
Support European OE business by managing the relationship to Technical Management at OEM car manufacturers.
Work as OEM customer interface with the OE tire development teams in GIC*L through the full process from OE tire advanced engineering, preliminary tests, submission loops, from RFI to release in production, including all quality relatedactivities in EMEA on assigned OEMs / Consumer tire lines.
Collaborate in the OE Cross-functional team with business and all other OE relevant functions ( Development, Quality and Manufacturing)
Guarantee proper definition / clarification and implementation of OE quality requirements.
Monitor customer complaints and closely follow-up implementation of necessary action(s) to drive continuous qualitative improvement / achieve a zero-complaint
Coordinate & conduct OEM Customer Satisfaction Survey along with definition of improvement plan.
Train and technically support manufacturing plants to ensure successful OE audits completion.
Communicate strategic information concerning customer feedback, OEM & market needs, strategies, opportunities & threats and competitor information to R&D and OE sales management and propose suggestions & proposals upon.
Create and maintain good professional relationship with customers and provide technical assistance in constant communication.
Supporting technical meetings at customer with in-depth technical knowledge and act as a window person for (tire design, regulations, virtual development process, NVH, Aerodynamics, etc.)
Build a good image of Goodyear / Dunlop at customers from both a technical & innovation capability and ethical standpoint.
Obtain technical nominations and OE approvals for Goodyear / Dunlop products in line with the OE EMEA roadmaps.
To join our team you will need :
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline.
Fluency in English is a must. German or any other language is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years technical experience in the tire or automotive industry
Experience in tire engineering is a major advantage
