Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning :

  • Drive the production of zero-based, bottom-up and annual Budgets including :
  • Managing the annual Budget cycle in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Ensuring a consistent approach and quality across all geographies and functions;
  • Delivering integrated monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements;
  • Developing all staff costs at the level of individual heads by month with all associated costs;
  • Work with the Strategy department to develop and maintain a 3 to 5 years strategic plan.
  • Develop a substantially automated revenue forecasting tool comprising :
  • Information within SAP with regards to existing revenue generating clients;
  • Information with Salesforce on confirmed future clients who are not yet revenue generating;
  • Future sales and revenue targets to occur subsequent to the date of forecast;
  • Drive 3 quarterly, in-year, rolling 15-month re-forecasts at a similar level of detail as the annual budget.
  • Performance Management :

  • Work with CFO and other senior managers to develop continually improving business reporting;
  • Develop a suite of KPI and Dashboards that reliably explains the financial performance of the group.
  • Other responsibilities :

  • Partner with the CFO and other senior managers to provide value-added financial support to management decision making on general commercial matters, including but not limited to :
  • Leveraging the Pricing Tool to monitor and manage client, country, line of business, team and product profitability;
  • Assessing new product and market opportunities;
  • Assisting the sales team in the development and maintenance of detailed, quantitative sales pipeline systems and reports;
  • Drive appropriate financial disciplines, develop financial capabilities and provide training, coaching and mentoring of finance skills to noon-finance management;
  • Work with PMO to identify and prioritise value-creating projects;
  • As a people manager, you have primary responsible to ensure that the staff are continually developed and coached.

  • You have 15 years + relevant professional experience;
  • You are used to work with Board level management;
  • You hold a university degree and you are a Qualified Accountant ;
  • You show a significant commercial acumen and awareness;
  • You must be able to project manage the budgeting and forecasting exercises;
  • You have the experience building high-performing teams ;
  • Willingness to travel internationally is required;
  • You are fluent in English (knowledge of French is an advantage).
