We are looking for a passionate Accounting Supervisor in our supply chain company in Luxembourg.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
Business Strategy, Policies and Tools
Assist in maintenance of appropriate financial control systems and processes to ensure compliance with all local statutory / regulatory requirements and gategroup guidelines and policies.
Support outsourcing and management of back office finance functions at Shared Service Centers.
Liaising officer between the Shared Service Centre, and local finance team.
Maintenance of the General Ledger functions including Fixed Asset Accounting and regular balance sheet reconciliation.
Overall overview of AP and AR functions, credit control, open items control.
Responsible for smooth and timely month-end / quarter-end and year-end close process.
Monthly actual uploads into HFM (management reporting tool) are done in accordance with regional and group reporting requirements.
Review balance Sheet reconciliation for the legal entities on a monthly basis and follow up on clarifying positions.
Assist in the taxation matters (Corporation Tax, VAT, Employment related tax etc).
Be the key contact for financial auditors for accounting matters concerning the legal entity.

Knowledge about Accounting (incl. balance sheet reconciliations, management accounting, monthly / yearly closing, reporting)
Technical skills :
SAP (preferred knowledge in the modules FI / CO)
Language / Communication skills :
Luxembourg working permit required
