SENIOR IT AUDITOR (M / F)

With operations in over 50 countries, our client operates several companies in Luxembourg which support their global and European ;
They are looking to grow the European Technology audit team in Luxembourg and are looking for a bright and motivated individual who wants to join a respected corporate audit team, and undertake internal audit work in a wide range of businesses, and develop professionally.
The Internal Audit Department provides high quality internal audits (technology, financial, operational) across most parts of the Group (mainly Europe and UK.
There are occasional audits in Middle East, Africa, India, Central and South America. )
Based in the Luxembourg office, the successful candidate will have around % overseas travel ( travel outside of Luxembourg), mostly in Europe / UK, and occasional opportunities for assignments further afield.
The Technology auditor (IT auditor) will focus on technology audits and will also work on some Financial and Operational internal audits, providing technology expertise.
Technology-focused audit scopes can cover a range of technologies, and also includes :
Revenue and billing assurance (of mobile businesses and ports businesses)
Mobile network delivery and operations
Cyber security assessment
Providing analytics to colleagues working on financial / operational audits
Conduct technology audit assignments including general IT controls ( , governance, security, operations, project mgmt. etc),
In-depth application reviews, technical delivery assessment ( , digital transformation and automation).
Assist the Audit Manager with planning audit engagements.
Audit fieldwork - ability to apply sound auditing procedures to identify risks, control weaknesses, formulate practical recommendations for process improvement / risk mitigation.
Participate and collaborate in financial and operational internal audits, including digital commerce, revenue assurance and data governance, as well as take up ad-hoc projects as assigned ( , fraud and forensic investigations).
Write up audit findings in a clear and structured fashion ( , audit issues, implications, recommendations etc) that will be read by executive management at business units and head office.
Support technology consultancy services such as penetration test arrangement and tendering in procurement for technologies.
Assist to undertake cyber / application security health checks ( , vulnerability assessment) and remediation.
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
At least 3 years relevant experience in either internal or external IT audit, system development, IT / security compliance, consultancy or project management.
University degree holder in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or other IT-related fields.
Passed professional examinations ( , CISA, CISSP or equivalent) are preferred.
Prior exposure to the telecommunications, retail and ecommerce industries would be an advantage.
IT control frameworks and security standards ( , COBIT, ITIL, OWASP Top 10, ISO 27001).
Understanding of technology-related laws beneficial ( , GDPR, national cybersecurity laws).
Exposure to a range of infrastructure, cloud technologies and security measures, as well as data analytic techniques ( , SQL) useful / important for knowledge and IT skills.
Hands-on experience on using network / application security scanning tools ( , Nessus, Qualys and Nmap) will be a plus, but not essential.
Independent with analytical mind and risk control sense.

Ability to provide delivery of high-quality audit work and meet deadlines
Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional European languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, Russian or German will be a plus.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the "Officer" role.
