Be the direct point of contact for our operational staff and work closely with our Customer Service and Warehouse Management Team in order to increase the added value for our customer.

We, the operational warehouse team in Contract Logistics, are looking for a new Operations Supervisor Warehousing (m / f / d) and are looking forward to your application!

Your Role

As an Operations Supervisor Contract Logistics, you are responsible for the continuous improvement of warehouse operations by guiding and developing the warehouse staff as well as monitoring and evaluating the operations on the shop floor.

Your Responsibilities

Motivate, coach and train your staff by monitoring and supervising training progress of ongoing trainings and by defining future training needs

Make the shop floor your focus by developing workload-planning based on customer needs with strong involvement of Customer Service

Hold board meetings and ensuring a good communication between all stakeholders

Evaluate and analyse on a daily basis Key Performance Indicators and derive and follow-up on corrective measures

Evaluate and implement any actions to drive synergies across the operational teams

Understand customer SOP’s and requirements as well as secure the translation into daily business

Identify performance problems and provide potential solutions proactively

Initiate and realise Continuous Improvement-Projects

Your Skills and Experiences

Several years of experience in logistics or production, warehouse operations, staff management and Lean Six Sigma

Highly interested in growing the performance, the capabilities, the ownership and the independency of the team and its individuals

Good knowledge of storage systems and all techniques used in warehouses and KPI's

Analytical and binding working manner

Ability to make decisions under time pressure and in stressful situations

Strong affinity with required customer quality standards

Very good communication skills in German or French and English

Willingness to work in shifts
