The position of Depositary Manager consists of heading the Depositary Services’ Department

which forms a segregated part of Trident Trust’s Luxembourg based office ( the Company ) of 26 staff.

Your Missions

The Depositary Manager will report to Depositary Director of the Company.

1. Management responsibilities :

Typical tasks will include :

  • Organising and coordinating day to day depositary operations
  • Conducting monitoring to provide assurance :
  • on ownership of the AIFs’ assets
  • that investor transactions have been processed correctly and in accordance with the applicable laws and the AIFs’ constitutional documents
  • that the value of the AIFs’ units or shares have been calculated in accordance with the applicable laws, the constitutional documents and the provisions of art 19 of AIFMD
  • on the AIF’s compliance with investment restrictions and leverage restrictions in the AIF’s constitutional documents
  • that any income is applied by the AIF in accordance with applicable law and the AIFs’ constitutional documents
  • Conducting the due diligence process on different parties
  • Drafting Service Level Agreements
  • Ensuring the procedures are applied and AIF regulatory requirements are met
  • Ensuring high standard delivery
  • Identifying , managing and continually re-assessing the risks inherent to the business, taking into account changes of legal and regulatory requirements, managing the implementation and maintenance of all procedural documentation accordingly
  • 2. Operational responsibilities :

    Handling the day to day operational depositary work with a focus on the following

    depositary duties :

  • AIF holdings are properly recorded and updated on a timely basis
  • Provide depositary monitoring services of investments restrictions, NAV calculation, subscriptions / redemptions, dividends and income distribution
  • Monitor the cash flows - identify significant cash flows and monitoring discrepancies
  • Assist with new business procedures including the collection of client due diligence documentation;
  • Day to day management of the AIF files with the necessary support of other members of the team
  • Provide a high quality service to clients and ensure that client queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Manage the relationships with other intermediaries and service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms, banks, and central administrators
  • Ensure that regulatory deadlines and service level agreements are met
  • Maintaining accurate records on
  • Ensure that all processes undertaken are in line with the applicable law and the Trident’s policies and procedures
  • Your Profile

  • University degree in Finance, Legal or Business related field
  • Strong experience in operations, structuration and supervision
  • Experience in the investment funds industry preferably as an auditor
  • Experience in management of teams
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft office skills
  • Fluent English - any other language is a plus
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally with clients, peers and internal and external stakeholders including regulators and auditors
