Investment Operations Officer (m / f)

The mission

Manage investment activities related to our life insurance products and be involved in the daily and periodic Investment activities of the company.

Bring support to the Investment team in delivering on department, group plans and projects (e.g. simplifications, harmonisations).

Support the team in maintaining daily operational business continuity of the department.

Main tasks

  • Perform daily investment orders execution for our life insurance products (investments, fund valuation, corporate actions management and unit reconciliations.
  • High level of controls should be maintained on these activities.
  • Monitor orders executions and pro-actively solve issues that might arise, placement of trade adjustments and reporting.
  • Responsible of the funds set-up and fund maintenance for our funds including sanity checks and corporate action followup.
  • Responsible of the regulatory reporting related to these assets (e.g. PRIIPS...)
  • Develop and maintain day-to-day relationships with counterparts with regards to the Buy & Sell activities (Custodian banks, asset managers)
  • Ensure an effective follow up of the assets monitoring and an appropriate communication in case of issue
  • Together with the Investment manager, participate in the design of new investment controls and solutions. Raise development request for potential IT developments, propose process improvement requests and service tickets in case of production issues related to his / her area of responsibility.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects within the department as well as company projects related to the investment area.
  • Maintain internal rules (including creation of any new required document (polices / procedures / WI), and annual review of the documents in his / her area of responsibility.
  • Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar position
  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Very good knowledge in investment vehicles and in the fund industry
  • Experience in life insurance sector appreciated.
  • Strong attention to details
  • Fluent in French and advanced level in English
