Whereas the headquarters of ICBC (Europe) S.A. is located in Luxembourg, the bank has established branches in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands.

In order to strengthen the Credit Approval Department in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst specialized in the banking and financing business.

  • Your responsibilities : · Credit business examination which includes : - Credit business (i.e. syndicated loans, bilateral loans, trade finances ) and bond investment examination and approval;
  • Organizing the credit granting and approval process for ICBC (Europe) S.A. and its Branches. · Credit risk analysis and statistics within all entities of the Bank, preparing credit appraisal reports and making recommendations on credit proposals in accordance with local regulations, internal policy and limits;
  • Analyze financial information, such as statements, management accounts and cash flow statements; industrial and micro environmental information and tendency;
  • Monitoring of existing and new EBA, ECB, BCBS, CSSF publications; · Organizing the work of credit rating and credit limit of the Bank;
  • Relevant jobs of secretary of credit committee. Your profile : · Master degree in International Business, Economics, or Finance;
  • Minimum 3 years’ credit risk analysis experience focusing on credit risk analysis or credit risk management; · Fluent in English, Chinese is an advantage;
  • Deep understanding of trade and export products from a credit risk perspective; · Deep understanding in credit business (working capital loans, trade financing, bank acceptances, letters of credit, letters of guarantee, etc.
  • and long-term loans (project loans, M&A loans, guarantees, etc.); · FRM or CFA would be considered as an asset; · Broad knowledge of the Basel II & III accords (i.

    e. RWA, LCR ); · Ability to understand and interpret complex rules frameworks; · Highly initiative, good communication skills, team worker and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
