Your

Draft, conceive, and execute communication activities for the University, targeting different internal and / or external parties in order to :

  • Implement an integrated communication strategy to raise the University’s reputation and support its strategic goals
  • Increase the visibility of the University and its activities
  • Facilitate the information exchange within the organization and contribute to the implementation of communication strategies and the achievement of communication objectives
  • The incumbent will :

  • Draft and create content (text, web-based or other formats) to communicate topics and news that are relevant to external audiences of the University (draft press statements and press releases, draft website content, draft text content for annual reports or marketing material this list is not exhaustive).
  • The incumbent will cooperate and collaborate with colleagues across the university to produce clear and concise, accurate and engaging content to maximise the exposure of the university’s research and teaching activities;
  • Potentially act as back-up for the press relations officer;
  • Act as contact person for external stakeholders / audiences;
  • draft and create content (text, web-based or other formats) to communicate topics and news that are relevant to internal audiences of the University;
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the needs and expectations of stakeholders including students, prospective staff, industry partners and funding bodies.
  • The tasks may be changed or adjusted depending on the status of the projects and on the requirements of the department.

    What we expect from you

    The successful candidate should have :

  • A Bachelor degree in communications, or equivalent by experience;
  • 2-4 years of experience in communication and proven experience in successfully delivering internal and / or external communications programmes in cooperation with multiple stakeholders;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills as well as good presentation skills;
  • Professional fluency level in English and German at least, with additional FR being highly desired.
  • Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract 12 Month (maternity / parental leave replacement)
  • Work Hours : Full Time 40.0 Hours per Week
