Administration Officer (M / F) For one of our Clients, a Greek bank currently establishing its Luxembourg branch, we are looking for an Administration Officer whose primary activities will be to assist the Administration Manager with the administrative, accounting, reporting and control activities of the Luxembourg Branch of the Bank which provides wholesale lending.

This person will report directly to the Administration Manager of Luxembourg Branch. Key accountabilities Assist with accounting, MI, regulatory reporting and office administration of the Branch Prepare and file accounting and tax reports as necessary Liaise with the Branch’s external service providers and handle preparation for approval and payment of related invoices Handle daily accounting transactions and profit and loss, perform reconciliations as required and investigate any variances Prepare external reporting including regulatory reporting and the transmission thereof Prepare and review daily liquidity position and end of day positions in conjunction with Branch Management Set up monthly, quarterly and annual Luxembourg Branch reports for Branch Management and Head Office Management together with management accounts, variances and commentaries Assist with the preparation of internal committee submissions Support to the Portfolio Management team with Portfolio management information Provide cover / assistance to Portfolio Management and Loan Administration teams when required Comply with the Bank’s conduct rules, policies and procedures Provide support to the Administration Manager for the local HR administrative matters, including liaison with local hiring agencies and law firms for contracts and liaison with HR, Head Office Work together with the Administration Manager to ensure appropriate process and procedures are in place for the various responsibilities of the Administration department Key Background & Experience At least a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Law At least 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role in Luxembourg Experience in accounting and tax filings Good knowledge of accounting / tax principles and of banking procedures Fluency in English and French both written and oral Key Competencies Strong numeric, assessment and business analysis skills Integrity, reliability and independence Excellent communications skills, clear and concise writing skills Strong personal organization and planning Detail oriented and rigorous Good understanding of the lending systems Team player Ability to work independently and proactive can-do attitude, seeking out ways to improve quality of service to all stakeholders Ability to deliver quickly and accurately when required Disclaimer : for publication purpose, this job description does not provide a complete list of duties and responsibilities.
