The Lead Instructional Designer is responsible for leading the analysis, planning, design, development and implementation of all PageGroup learning initiatives in alignment with strategic and operational goals.

The Lead Instructional Designer will lead the effort to create innovative learning solutions using sound instructional design methodology, current technologies and effective project management to meet organizational content development goals.

  • Generate and customize innovative, high-quality learning programmes
  • Collaborate with regional Talent Development teams to use subject matter expert (SME) content provided to design, develop, implement, and maintain trainings for a global audience
  • Perform needs and task analysis, scope out projects, and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate learning approach and content
  • Create storyboards, audio and video scripts, job aids, scenarios and case studies, learning activities, online course content, infographics, and user guides
  • Create engaging quizzes, simulations, and assessments based on learning and performance objectives
  • Collaborate with the Global Digital Learning team to develop scripts, storyboards and learning solutions
  • Establish quality standards and define User Experience (UX) and (User Interfaces (UI) for the Digital Learning platform to ensure consistency and instant awareness for users
  • Manage the relationship with global SMEs in an environment with short deadlines and high operational requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to optimise the instructional design methodology, training SMEs and Talent Development teams as needed
  • Develop and implement course templates, models, standards and content design procedures
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best-practices in the eLearning and instructional design community in order to enhance and expand on training objects and deliverables
  • Collaborate with the team of instructional designers and digital learning designers to ensure quality standards are met on all projects
  • Profil recherché

  • Minimum five years of proven experience designing learning programmes
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a strong plus (particularly French and Spanish)
  • Experience using authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite), familiarity with SCORM, AICC and xAPI
  • Experience designing and developing eLearning, multimedia and other computer based training, ideally within a corporate learning environment
  • Experience translating technical-functional content into an enjoyable and consumable user experience
  • Experience in social-collaborative learning methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience managing instructional design teams and working cross-functionally with other technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
