The Technician will join a team dedicated to materials testing and will be involved in mechanical testing. He will replace a member of the team during its parental leave.
He / She will be involved in a high quality environment.
The Technician provides technical support to RDI projects and service delivery activities by carrying out technical day-
to-day laboratory activities based on well-defined protocols and by ensuring the proper functioning of the instruments / equipment he / she is using.
Carrying-out of technical day-to-day activities
Carry out various mechanical tests : tensile, compression, fatigue
Ensure the quality of the delivered results
Draft test reports
Respect security / hygiene protocols
Assurance of proper functioning and maintenance of equipment / laboratories / computers
Participate in ensuring security and waste management in the laboratories and good laboratory practice
Handle the basic machine / equipment / software maintenance and fix related problems
Report any problem related to machines, ask for the intervention of an internal / external expert technician when required
Learn, master and apply the processes / protocols related to the instruments / equipment he / she uses
Keep abreast of update and best practices of his / her technique(s)
Bac + 2 - Diploma in science or Technology Diploma
Or Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a laboratory environment
English and French
