Valuation Control Manager

responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the risk & valuation analysis on underlying asset within a set of portfolios
  • Act as representative for the Valuation Control in regional forums
  • Challenge valuations presented in the Valuation Committees
  • Control the front-to-back valuation process from a quality and governance perspective
  • Responsible for updating the regional valuation control policies and procedures
  • Due Diligence
  • Validation of models used to value illiquid Alternative assets
  • Support the continuous enhancement of valuation control toolsets

    • Your profile

  • Good technical knowledge of financial markets, products and processes as well as related Valuation Models
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Management and various regulatory frameworks (e.g. AIFMD)
  • Experience with valuation of alternative products, such as private equity, or fundamental credit analysis background
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, Chartered Financial Analyst or Financial Risk Manager would be considered a plus
