A diversified role within the Financial Crime Compliance team of the International Wealth Management (IWM) division in Luxembourg, covering Credit Suisse (Luxembourg) SA and its branches

  • Leading of ex ante filtering for the Clients
  • Regular screening of clients database with qualifying of hits, with due justification and documentation
  • Release of transactions on blocked accounts with due AML / CTF controls;
  • Cooperating with Authorities in AML / CTF matters
  • Providing answers for the demands of regulators within the framework of cooperation with authorities (CSSF, FIU, Judicial Police and Tax)
  • Duly executing other controls as per the risk triggers
  • Providing investigation of AML / CTF cases and assessment of residual ML / TF or reputational risks
  • Analyzing and controlling of KYC / CDD documentation for high risk clients and ML / TF red- flagged accounts, including assessing plausibility of SOW / SOF and BO structure in the client onboarding and ongoing due diligence process
  • Evaluating and providing recommendations on deficiencies in supporting / corroborative documents
  • Ensuring at all times compliance with AML / CTF local regulatory requirements, applicable international / European guidelines and Credit Suisse internal standard
  • Coordinating efficient cooperation with the Client Facing Employees regarding all aspects of AML / CTF projects and controls
  • Providing analysis and qualification of PEP relationships
  • Proposing improvement of AML / CTF tools, systems and processes for better efficiency and due risk coverage, managing of change requests
  • Regular collaborate with relevant staff members and Subject Matter Authorities within Credit Suisse Luxembourg and globally for better articulation of current and strategical tasks of AML / CTF framework
  • Providing clear statistics on the executed controls and activity
  • Assisting MLRO in strategical projects, such as CSSF AML Questionnaire, Risk Assessment, new tools and methodologies as per development of the AML / CTF laws and regulations
  • The responsibility for conducting Enhanced Due Diligence for high risk clients, where necessary, and therefore make a substantial contribution to the decision making process at the on-boarding or ongoing due diligence of any high-risk relationship and confirming the plausibility of clients’ due diligence and transactions (KYC and KYT side of the relationship)
  • Assist the line manager and the entire Financial Crime Compliance team globally in AML / CTF and reputation risk assessments;
  • remediation measures proposed by you will be of wonderful importance and will be luckily implemented by Client Facing Employees

  • Provide advice on AML / CTF and EDD matters to the Client Facing Employees whilst regularly collaborating with control functions
  • Support and Audit requests
  • Through close collaboration with various partners across divisions, you craft a bank-wide positive network within an international environment

  • You Offer

  • A university degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance Compliance, Political Science, or International Relations, or alternatively you have completed a banking apprenticeship with further education in a relevant field
  • Experience (4-6 years) in Audit, Compliance, Business Risk Management or similar functions
  • Experience in Private Banking and general knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry are mandatory
  • Good French is an asset for accurate carrying out the function of cooperation with authorities
  • Oral and written communication skills in English. Business understanding of French and / or German is required to be able to read KYCs, clients’ documentations, CRM database materials
  • Advisory role, expertly whilst ensuring the independence of the Compliance function
  • Flexibility, communicative person and collaborative, work and advise Front Office staff and Business Risk Management in an effective and efficient manner within a very fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Being able to fulfill an advisory role authoritatively whilst maintaining the control function at the same time
  • Strong analytical, investigative, communication and problem solving skills, as well as enthusiasm for Legal, Compliance and Risk topics
  • Attention to details and love to learn new things
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations on the level of EU and Luxembourg, including KYC and KYT sides, Good MS Office skills and knowledge of Mantas, Fircosoft, goAML, e-file, FrontNet, ELAR
