Introduction

Our client, a small management company situated close to the central train station , is seeking for a Risk Officer to join their ranks.

The company manages several UCITS and AIF funds totalling around 700€ million assets. As they are currently developing and have a growing demand from the part of their clients, they are looking for a Risk Officer who will help to ensure that the standalone asset management company complies with the current applicable regulatory risk management requirements.

You will join a human-size company , that is close to its employees. You will benefit from various trainings provided by the House of Luxembourg, and of course you will acquire new skills by working closely with the Chief Risk Officer.

Responsibilities

Risk Officer - your role :

Report directly to the Conducting Officer in charge of Risk Management

Assist in the daily risk monitoring including the calculation of risk, stress testing as well as back testing

Perform ongoing risk assessments for the company's funds

Be the contact point between various teams

Assist in the preparation of reporting for the Director's committee

Analyse and implement regulatory changes (CSSF circulars, UCITS guidelines, etc)

Profile

Risk Officer - your profile :

At least 1 year of experience as a Risk Officer

Fluent in French and English

Sound knowledge of the Luxembourgish regulatory framework (AIFM & UCITS)

Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Maths or equivalent

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desire to learn and evolve quickly in your career
