To support our continued growth, we are looking for the most exceptional finance professionals to join our B2B Finance team in Luxembourg.

The B2B channel, Amazon Business, is building on all the things consumers love about Amazon to deliver a unique and compelling experience and services specifically tailored for business customers.

It’s a critical leadership role partnering with category leaders, operations, and technology teams to continuously innovate, delight customers, and grow and optimize their businesses for long term free cash flow.

This is an exciting opportunity that blends an individual's desire to support business decision making with their finance acumen while supporting fast growing businesses at Amazon.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide strategic guidance and decision support in this rapidly evolving space.

Primary responsibilities include :

  • Participating as a key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams
  • Driving cross-business analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining, and presentation support
  • Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting to develop improvement plans and create new measures
  • Leading ad hoc financial analyses to drive growth and profitability
  • Long and short term financial planning; Managing the reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics
  • Controllership, including monthly commentary and variance analysis
  • BA / BS degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years finance with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
  • Business level fluency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • MBA preferred
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, dynamic environment, managing multiple, sometimes competing, priorities
  • Ability to analyze financials, dive deep into data sets, and provide innovative recommendations to management and business partners
  • Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of people to earn trust and build understanding
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to influence other leaders in finance and the business
  • Highly proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL is preferred
  • Excel VBA preferred but not required,
  • SQL (or similar), preferred but not required
  • French and German would be considered a plus.
