You will support the Finance team in its daily tasks in relation invoice management, accounting input, reconciliations, filing.
The key accountabilities are as follows :
Support the invoice management process, identify and resolve issues as required (tracking, distribution, signature collection, filing, reconciliation);
Support in making accounting entries to the general ledger for invoices, depreciation, payroll, prepayments, etc;
Support the daily cash reconciliation process and related clarification with other departments;
Answer questions and provide assistance to the Bank’s stakeholders as needed;
Prepare the BCL bi-weekly reports;
Ensure data integrity, completeness and accuracy in the tasks assigned;
Support in carry out filing, reconciliation, and other tasks to support the Treasury function
Performing various quality controls and monitoring duties;
Support the department during month-end close activities;
Undertake other tasks to support the team and Head of Finance with a variety of financial assignments, as needed (e.g.
supporting internal and external audit related requests, VAT input, etc).
Adhere and contribute to the Bank’s financial policies and procedures
Educated to degree level in Finance / Economics major
Experience of working in financial services would be an advantage
Fluent in English, French an asset
