The team is growing fast and we're looking for a rock star Program Manager to join our team. This position is located in our EU offices in Luxembourg, with options also available to be based out of Amazon’s other EU offices.

Amazon’s Product Assurance, Risk and Security (PARS) seeks to protect customers, associates and partners from unsafe products, provide technical expertise, pioneer innovative tech solutions to complex problems and deliver a world-class programmatic strategy to enable safe, compliant and efficient execution across our world-wide supply chain in an ever-changing environment.

PARS seek to deliver on the above mandate, while all the time placing emphasis on improving the experience for Amazon’s Selling Partners for they products they sell via Amazon.

This job role will be based within the rapidly expanding Chemical Safety and Compliance (CSC) program, which forms a key pillars of the overall PARS organisation.

  • CSC has a mission to protect the health of associates, customers and supply chain partners by innovatively identifying hazardous chemical products across an ever-expanding catalogue, executing internal and external mechanisms to gather required compliance requirements and improving the Selling Partner Experience through implementing tech solutions to ambiguous challenges;
  • taken together, this allows CSC to provide credible information to enable safe handling, storage, transport, usage and disposal of hazardous products across the worldwide Amazon network.

    The CSC compliance program manager will be a key stakeholder in coordinating and building out business requirements for new, disruptive tech functionalities for external Selling Partners with the overall aim of helping worldwide Selling Partners to become and remain compliant in an efficient and scalable manor.

    Additionally, the program manager will also be responsible for coordinating with tech functionalities to build out internal technical capabilities that are required to scale processes into new marketplaces across the globe.

  • Aside from working closely with various tech teams, this role will also work closely with worldwide Product, Legal, Selling Partner Experience (SPX), safety, supply chain and business teams;
  • the candidate will also assist in the supporting the on-going operations of the CSC program, in our rapidly expanding and evolving business.

    Additionally, the candidate will be an active contributor to broader PARS compliance strategy and CSC roadmap discussions, with the opportunity to partake in key workflows with Snr Management.

    Responsibilities Include

  • Defining, owning and executing upon a WW expansion roadmap for Selling Partner Experience activities
  • Lead the development of continuous feedback mechanisms with WW Selling Partners, with the aim to improve current processes, which hold a tangible impact on targeted metrics
  • Partnering closely with various Tech and Product teams, to define and lead the WW strategy to integrate new Selling Partner Services
  • Leveraging a combination of data analysis skills, critical thinking and collaboration to clarify highly ambiguous problems and present tangible solution in an easy to understand format for leadership teams
  • Partnering with Internal stakeholders from WW teams to understand key challenges and contribute to helping find solutions
  • Owning the delivery of multiple projects, taking ownership to monitor their progress against key milestones
  • Develop scalable mechanisms to report regular updates on projects within your ownership to key stakeholders, to ensure alignment is maintained across various WW teams

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related area.
  • 5+ years of experience managing medium to high complexity cross-functional programs, including multiple groups of stakeholders and in an international environment.
  • Experience working with Product teams to implement scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
  • Extremely comfortable with ambiguity and comfortable on taking the lead to problem solve
  • Ability to design processes that start with the customer and work backward.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and process design.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse and SQL
  • Strong delivery record.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

  • Experience with chemical regulations such as GHS, REACH, CLP, TSCA
  • Experience in compliance programs
  • Knowledge / Certification of Six Sigma / Lean
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Knowledge of EU languages
