The successful candidate will work in strong collaboration with different groups and perform single cell transcriptomics analysis using our established DropSeq pipeline and Fluidigm platform to investigate underlying molecular mechanisms of the immune system.
While being expected to closely interact with other TregBar partners, the candidate will be mainly hosted by the group of Dr.
Alexander Skupin (alexander.skupin uni.lu) within the LCSB.
PhD degree in biology, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, medicine or in related science
Experience in molecular biology including transcription analysis and / or immunology
Experience in single cell techniques and microfluidics based approaches would be beneficial but not mendatory
Background in computational biology and / or R scripting is an additional plus
Delight in travelling
Critical thinking and collaborative skills
Excellent English writing and speaking skills are mandatory as English is the working language.
