Job based in LuxembourgHow often have you had an opportunity to be a member of a team creating a unique customer experience?
In the EU Direct Fulfillment (DF) team our wildly important goal (WIG) is to exceed the expectations of all our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small are delivered as fast as feasibly possible, safely, on time, in full every time.
To meet this goal, we have to continually innovate in our supply chain, plan for, design and then manage our continually evolving transportation and Vendor networks.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be a key contributor to the future technology roadmap and long-term vision of Direct Fulfillment within Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) team.

ii) Mid-term (network optimization) and (iii) long term (strategic network planning), with the safety of Associates, drivers and the communities within which we operate as highest priority.
Amazon is earth’s most customer-centric company and the earth is our customer too. Come join us and innovate with us on how to develop a robust direct-to-vendor returns program to reduce our carbon footprint (measured by CO2e)
As Senior Program Manager, you will commence with operationalizing the 13-week S&OP process to cover transportation and vendor fulfillment operations planning.
You will set up a mid-term planning process taking into account planning for peak periods including but not limited to Prime Day and quarter four (Q4) Peak.
Long term, you will review and optimize our existing distribution network, while working with partner teams (Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics, Global Transportation Services and DF Product) in designing our future footprint and injection into the Amazon transportation network.
You will be considering relevant factors of our changing environment - demand, regulations, end-to-end supply chain including customer returns for the most sustainable.
You will build and implement systems, features and tools that will enhance internal or external stakeholder engagement towards performance that secures end customer experience (CX).
The tools are expected to improve the quality of network topology plans and significantly reduce the time spent in manual interventions, planning and deep diving errors.
You will do this by working with software developers and business intelligence engineers, SCOT topline forecasting algorithms to incorporate DF into the standard Amazon planning systems and processes.
You will be responsible for continuous improvement of the processes, developing scalable dashboards and interactive, self-service user tools, driving parity with the in-network operations.
To be successful in this role, you need an aptitude for project management and ambidexterity in creating processes, while executing and building mechanisms simultaneously.
You will have a vision for driving automation in the business, coordinating the right subject matter experts (SMEs) to co-create the best set up and processes, looking for opportunities for simplification.
Key to your success will be the ability to deliver quick wins, and build out a capacity planning function and team to support the growth of the EU DF business and influencing wide stakeholder groups to a common vision for DF.
