Compliance Analyst (M / W)
Your tasks :
The Compliance Analyst will report to the Head of PCMU Unit. The position requires close cooperation with the PCMU team members as well as with other OCCO staff members and with various OCCO’s business stakeholders.
The Compliance Analyst will be part of a Transitional Roadmap Task Force (TRTF) responsible for performing checks, quality controls, data enhancements & clean ups on Related Counterparty remediation files.
The Compliance Analyst will support a Compliance led overall project to enhance processes and systems with manual tasks / reviews, standardized processing and preparing cases for decision making by experts.
Based on clearly described criteria, the Compliance Analyst will review Counterparty files electronically on a daily basis;
Control completeness and accuracy (if applicable) of Counterparty remediation files;
Input / enrich data when available and flag missing information when not;
Correct data or data format;
Perform reviews / semi-automated screenings and document result;
Perform 4 eyes controls of data input / correction within the context of the Team activities;
Prepare the files requiring expert judgement for regular reviews by experts. Highlight the decisions that need to be taken and execute the outcome;
Perform additional reviews, controls and data corrections as the need arises ;
Tracking progress and reporting to the supervisors.
Your profile :
University degree, preferably in law, political science, economics, finance or Information Technology;
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, banking or administration; Good knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques used in business analysis and process engineering would be an advantage;
Experience in similar tasks, projects or remediation exercises will be an advantage Depending on the background, a strong willingness to acquire business knowledge in Compliance is essential;
Solid experience in document drafting (English) and preparation of analysis and reports Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft desktop tools (particularly Windows, MS Office, Web browsers, Adobe, etc.
Some knowledge of Document management Systems (e.g. GED and Microsoft SharePoint), web Development and content management systems would be an advantage;
Excellent knowledge of English and / or French, with a good knowledge of the other (Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage).
