Marketing Specialist (m / f / d)
The Marketing Specialist provides support and assistance in proposition development and campaign execution as well as is in charge of developing and delivering marketing strategy plans for assigned segments in order to define marketing objectives and strategies that support the delivery of the business objectives and development and update of relevant product literature.
The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for implementing an annual communication strategy and plan, which delivers an integrated program of customer, distributor and sale activity to achieve agreed investment business targets and strategic objectives.
As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the following :
Support propositional development, promotion, strategic and tactical objectives to deliver market leading campaigns that generate profitable business.
Ensuring effective market place delivery, customer focus and propositional integrity.
Ensure communications requirements are clearly defined based on an informed detailed understanding of propositions, target market segments and distribution channels.
Ensure on time, on budget delivery of campaigns and other communications initiatives to maintain or grow profitable market share for relevant proposition set.
Determine budgets for communication projects, ensuring any necessary external agencies and services are selected and managed effectively.
Work collaboratively with colleagues form other reginal marketing teams and wider business areas to research, develop and implement compelling take to market’ strategies and effective, integrated campaigns and initiatives.
Provide business insight and strategic input to the production of communications, sales campaigns and marketing promotions.
Works with business partners or distribution partners as needed, for deliverable creation and maintains a proficient working knowledge of company products and services.
Develops content and copy for website, product documentation, digital campaigns, fact sheets, brochures, etc.
Be in charge new product literature design and updates to the existing literature as required to ensure the documentation is regularly updated and compliant with Group marketing guidelines
Manage the library of customer literature and the relevant budget for marketing work by engaging third party agencies and monitoring of the relevant spend
Executes deliverables, such as marketing communications copy for print collateral, web content, digital campaigns, secondary research, etc.
ensuring all adhere to the marketing strategy and Zurich brand guidelines.
Work across multiple products and functions to support one marketing channel in the relevant area of expertise.
Prepare reports showing the results of marketing initiatives and campaigns to support the decision making process, define marketing objectives and strategies.
Provide marketing advice and support to the Heads of Segment and other key stakeholders to ensure the needs of segment are met within policy constraints.
Take action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same.
Your skills and experience
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include :
A university degree (bachelor level) in Marketing or a higher professional education
Work experience of at least 3-5 years in the financial industry or similar industry
Fluent in English and German, any other language will be an asset
Internet-based marketing and market research experience
Proven skills in Microsoft office
Knowledge or experience of digital marketing tools and campaigns
Conceptual and analytical orientation
Excellent organizational and writing skills
Team-oriented, systematic and goal-orientated operating
Experience in coordinating work with multiple parties involved on an international level
