An exciting new role that has been identified as key in providing support to the New Business Intake. You will be responsible for dealing with CDD and other AML queries, primarily for the European offices of the Law Firm.

Your Responsibilities

Communicating with clients directly regarding CDD requests

Carrying out research and analysis on the source of wealth and funds issues and assisting with advice to Partners

Assisting more senior colleagues with advising Finance, Partners, and Fee Earners on third-party payments and additional due diligence requirements

Carrying out risk assessments at client inception and when CDD records are updated to see whether the client presents a higher than usual risk of money laundering

Assisting the Money Laundering Reporting Officer with research for suspicious actively reports; Drafting suspicious activity reports

It is also envisaged that the successful candidate may become involved in other compliance projects such as policy work and file audits as they become more experienced

Your Profile

Strong technical knowledge of applicable AML legislation with at least 3+ years' relevant law firm experience

In-depth knowledge of CDD requirements for both Luxembourg and the UK

Experience of AML requirements in multiple jurisdictions would be an advantage

Proven experience of advising on the source of wealth and funds due diligence

Fluency in French and English

Highly organised and capable of managing conflicting priorities deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills
