The DPE willassist the DPO in all tasks and work closely with all central service andbusiness stakeholders focusing especially on guiding and advising them on dataprotection legislation matters and compliance in order to ensure that all KPMGinitiatives are appropriately conducted.
Provide privacy legal advice and workwith the Data Protection Officer to implement privacy policies and processes.This includes :
Assist in data breach response(including evaluating notification requirements)
Monitor privacy legal and regulatorydevelopments and keep the firm informed of the relevant changes
Ensure compliance of KPMG Globalprojects with European and local data privacy legislation, including providingupdates on legal and regulatory developments to KPMG Global
Provide input on proposed globalinformation security and privacy policies, standards, and other requirements
Your Profile :
MASTERin Digital Law or equivalent
Fiveyears of experience in the field of digital law
Fluencyin English, French and / or German are a strong asset
CIPP / Eor other relevant certification preferred
Knowledgein Data Protection Legislation
Knowledgein Information Security and Computer Science
Strongwritten and oral communications skills
Strongnegotiation and influencing skills
Demonstratedability to work independently, but also successfully co-exist within aclose-knit team.
Abilityto prioritize and manage workload as well as meet deadlines within afast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
