Purpose of the Job

The Marketing team group-wide at Quintet is ever more focused on being close to prospects and clients while leveraging synergies group-wide when it makes sense.

In this environment, 3 connected pillars require important marketing ownership and drive at group level :

  • Create content and build campaigns that are highly efficient and part of scalable programmes, focused on sales and impact.
  • Manage brands across entities and business lines group-wide from an editorial and positioning perspective, to ensure coherence of message globally and further support campaigns effectiveness.
  • Engage with prospects and clients in a meaningful way to create lasting client experiences, in alignment with Quintets values and mission statement.
  • This role is responsible for driving a large part of the delivery of the group marketing strategy, its positioning on markets, and its awareness internally.

    As a consequence the incumbent will be pivotal in client relationship deepening and prospect acquisition, and senior stakeholders management in other functions group-wide (e.

    g., GPS, CIO, corporate comms, etc.)

    A core mission for this role is to implement scalable and financially efficient activities throughout the group to facilitate faster growth, in good collaboration with local teams.

    Activities will be aligned with the Group Strategy to support business growth and client satisfaction ambitions.

    This role has four main outputs :

  • Build / review group positioning and related editorial strategy to help the bank improve its awareness and relevancy (and achieve relevant exec buy-in in the process).
  • Drive the implementation of the group strategy and positioning through external clients engagement.
  • Drive centrally and with countries the group strategy for content (products, thought leadership, branding, and experience) across all relevant channels in order to boost business growth (NNC and AUM).
  • Ensure a smooth execution of the Marketing strategy, in good collaboration with other group marketing colleagues, local marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and in close partnership with the Head of Bus Development to whom this position reports

    Co-create group marketing strategy (with Group Head of Business Development) and translate it into a growth focused brand and editorial strategy

    Design and implement marketing target operating model aligned with company objectives

    Create and implement global strategy for core programmes in the group (quintet earth, alternative investment, next gen, active ownership, counterpoint, etc.)

    Support financial planning and control


    Building long term group brand, marketing, editorial and communications strategy

    Improving customer experience, satisfaction & NPS

    Raising brand awareness and consideration (including its execs)

    Establish a strong brand for Quintet Private Bank and its portfolio of brands, using all available marketing channels

    Oversee creative and brand guidelines for the group

    Create a client experience framework to be applicable in all formats across all geographies (events, webinars, sales)


    Driving group digital strategy (content management, information architecture, SEM / SEO, design, tracking, etc.)

    Driving client and prospect communication strategy and channels

    Generating or supporting marketing qualified leads, and further connecting our marketing framework to the business offering

    Supporting the optimizing of marketing infrastructure & processes across the Group, focusing on digital channels, to allow for scale and efficiency

    Measuring the impact of Marketing and return on Marketing investment

    Oversee social and digital channels and strategy


    Work with large panel of stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and radical candor feedback constructively

    Drive fast-pace change in a functional organization

    Manage small team of experts as part of competence center, with group and local activities

    Co-own marketing roadmap delivery with Head of Business Development

    Also :

    Elevating the Marketing Unit to a new level of success and excellence, aligned to the structure and strategy of the bank

    Growing and nurturing a team of experienced, entrepreneurial marketing professionals

    Supporting all markets in optimizing their strategies, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative (marketing market heads may have dotted line into this role)

    Transforming the marketing team into a cohesive group of strategic contributors with a growth mind-set and approach yet having the hybrid approach of centrally-led strategy & local implementation spirit

    Day-to-day activities

  • Drive campaigns group-wide, including content production coordination
  • Engage with agencies and other external stakeholders
  • Provide inputs to oversee and track monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing unit
  • Approach all group marketing efforts in an entrepreneurial style with a clear focus on group wide impact
  • Generate and continually increase the number of marketing qualified leads
  • Set, monitor and report on unit and team strategic and tactical goals
  • Champion the unit image and internal brand within the bank
  • Is compliant and adheres to risk management policies
  • Report to key stakeholders on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and unit successes
  • Actively lead and motivate across all core hubs / locations, establishing a cohesive and centralized marketing team
  • Optimize resources under constraints (budget and staffing)
  • Reviews and manages strategic content marketing strategy
  • Determines, tracks and reports on Marketing KPIs
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • In collaboration with Front teams and Strategy team, identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Monitor competition from a client experience perspective
  • Support efforts to have tools and materials that enable the sales team to use marketing content effectively
  • Support markets in smooth implementation of global projects

    Knowledge and Experience

  • 20+ years of experience in similar roles internationally
  • Strong marketing, digital, communication and strategy expertise in similar as well as other industries
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills : Ability to lead, motivate and engage. Present and articulate the companys marketing strategy, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all functions of the business on an international level. Be a powerful spokesperson for the brand at the highest levels of the organization

  • Transformation and change management experience : Experience working in a transformation environment and ability to drive change.
  • First-class leadership skills and using a growth mind-set, with experience of managing a business on an international level.

    The ability to hire, retain and motivate top quality teams in different locations


  • Strategic & creative : A visionary, with an entrepreneurial spirit, who can work closely with the leadership team with the support of the team, to spearhead a successful marketing and communications strategy for the firm
  • Ability to translate vision and marketing creative ideas into business impact and relevant projects for the group
  • Technical Skills

  • Technical excellence : Demonstrable ability to drive B2C and B2B marketing, branding and communications strategy across multiple geographies.
  • Languages Skills

  • Fluent in English. Other languages from the Group are strong extras
