In addition to servicing Private Banking clients, Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) acts as Depositary Bank for a wide range of UCIs across various client segments.

In this context, as part of its efforts to reinforce its activities, the Depositary Bank is seeking a Network Manager for its Network Management team.

The purpose of a Depositary is to protect the interests of the investors, as to ensure the safekeeping of the Fund’s assets.

OUR OFFER An interesting position in a striving, highly motivated, multicultural and fast paced working environment. YOUR DUTIES As a Network Manager, your main responsibilities will be to :

  • Setup and maintain banking relationships within the network of agent banks in any market traded by clients
  • Lead or act as key coordinator of projects, requests for proposals, remote and on-site due diligences, perform risk monitoring
  • Coordinate all agent banks migrations as well as maintain of the sub-custody contingency plan
  • Analyze market profiles, evaluate and communicate market changes and developments to all relevant parties
  • Maintain and develop effective solutions to allow clients to gain access to markets, whilst managing and controlling risks and exposures
  • Support clients and operational teams with respect to local market services in order to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
  • Represent the Network Management function internally within the Group, and externally by attending commercial venues and seminars

  • Professional experience of minimum 8 years in Network Management, Custody, Control, Operations or Client Service management with focus on network management
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the responsibilities relating to the Network Management function including the ones of the Depositary Bank strong understanding of Fund products, vehicle structures, securities & cash products, and the Luxembourg Fund regulatory directives
  • Confirmed expertise in risk identification and mitigation evidenced with an ability to connect different elements together when analyzing complex issues
  • Excellent negotiation as well as presentation skills, ability to synthesize complex information in concise messages verbally and in writing in English, and ideally fluent in French
  • Excellent analytical skills, independent thinking and judgment, problem solving approach overall coupled with a can do attitude evidenced with a high and constant level of commitment
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to build and maintain strong relationships within or outside the Group with experience of managing interactions equally comfortable working independently or within a team
  • Ability to plan and coordinate work across multiple disciplines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in parallel while meeting tight deadlines
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, management, law, or any other relevant education, ideally supplemented with trainings in risk management, network management, or pertaining to the Banking / Fund industry overall
  • Computer literacy consisting of strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications, particularly in Excel, knowledge in VBA being an asset

  • The position reports to the Head of Depositary Bank, is full time, based in Luxembourg, subject to a six months trial period, and successful background checks.
