ROLE DEFINITION :

Overall role is to support the Luxembourg Compliance Department for the Group funds which have appointed the management company Aberdeen Standard Investments Luxembourg SA as their Super Management Company.

DUTY / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Compliance Advisory : General role includes providing support, within the Compliance Luxembourg team, for the funds registered in Luxembourg and regulated by the CSSF in accordance with the requirements of the UCITS and AIFM directives.

Building knowledge with focus on product and structures; in particular on Private Markets aspects.

Regulatory support : Regulatory tracking : screen regulation, maintain team meetings and related log, follow up on regulatory developments, perform gap analysis.

Regulatory developments support : To attend the Aberdeen Standard Investments working groups on specific regulatory projects and provide advisory on implementation.

Interactions with regulators : To assist in the maintenance of positive and constructive relations with the regulator, including providing routine and exceptional reporting to the CSSF, where required, and external auditors & service providers.

assist the Compliance Manager on product calls with Product Development UK and Product Management Luxembourg.

Compliance Marketing support : Marketing presentations and distribution hub support, marketing protocol updates, website monitoring (Belgium and Luxembourg).

Core Compliance : To provide assistance to the ManCo on maintaining compliance with the CSSF requirements, including Personal Account Dealing and Conflict of Interest (monitoring and maintaining registers in accordance with CSSF circular 18 / 698).

Other Responsibilities : To provide assistance to the ManCo and Group’s projects where Compliance Luxembourg is involved and related tasks as appropriate.
