    Reports to Tax Manager The purpose of this position is to support the Tax team in all compliance and advice matters and to work with the Tax Manager on our Aztec Group Luxembourg clients’ portfolio.

  • Key responsibilities Assist the Tax team with the review / preparation of the indirect tax returns, including information gathering quarterly reports, calculating, preparing and submitting VAT returns Be a main point of contact for the Luxembourg VAT authorities regarding all indirect tax related questions Be a key contact for international group entities regarding VAT related queries Provide continued support to any ad hoc projects If needed, support the Tax team on corporate tax returns and ad hoc reporting Be involved in mainly indirect tax matters;
  • VAT returns, VAT assessments, VAT reporting Maintain diverse tax records and the follow up on all filing deadlines related to Luxembourg taxation for clients' companies Assist with the preparation of Luxembourg corporate tax returns, the calculation of tax provisions and the review of tax assessments Maintain diverse tax records and the follow up on all filing deadlines related to Luxembourg taxation for clients companies Coordinate between clients and other service providers Skills, knowledge, expertise Attention to detail to ensure the delivery of consistent high standards At least 3-

    4 years of previous experience preparing and filing VAT returns for Luxembourg Soparfi / Funds entities. Big 4 experience is an advantage A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Commenced the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce taxation diploma (VAT module completed as minimum) Fluency in English and French is required Microsoft Office Excel / BOB 50 Proven organizational and people skills Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines A critical thinker who is disciplined We will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development.
