The position

The E-Commerce Team Lead is in charge of his / her team and the projects assigned to it. He / she delegates, supervises tasks and ensures that the services offered contribute to the accomplishment of the organization’s mission, and takes into account the priorities regarding its customers and projects.

He / she ensures the proper set up of workflows and makes sure that quality requirements and delivery expectations are met.

In between his / her subordinates and the Head of Content, the Commercial Director and CEO, the E-Commerce Team Lead stands in a fair and neutral way for the interests of the company and its subordinates.

Team Management

  • Building and reinforcing the team spirit (positive attitude, team-building events, etc.)
  • Must be able to improve his / her performance through management and team members feedback
  • Organising regular 1-to-1 meetings with the team members and keeping written track
  • Detecting and answering to weaknesses, strengths, specific needs, things to improve and to reinforce, and taking necessary actions
  • Recruitment

  • Evaluating and sharing the resources need of the team according to the current and upcoming projects
  • Being actively part of the candidate’s selection process
  • Organising training sessions for every newcomer
  • Updating the trainings according to any internal or external changes and innovation
  • Planning

  • Managing priorities within the team
  • Approving and sharing timing estimation on a monthly basis
  • Checking on the planning’s evolution to prevent any non-respect of it
  • Providing status reports to management
  • Power of Decision Making

  • Taking part into decision processes (Resources Management)
  • Approving team members’ holidays
  • Proposing salary increases
  • Suggesting people eligible as project managers
  • Requirements

  • University / college degree (preferably in marketing, communication or business)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 5 years of experience
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to take decisions
  • Analytical attitude
  • Independence
  • Stress management
  • Must be organized and accurate
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management directions
  • Language skills : Fluent English. The knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Italian is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
