About the team

You’ll be part of a team of experts in Hedge fund accounting located in Luxembourg.

What you will be doing

  • You ll maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements
  • Assist with client onboarding such as loading of client's tax lots, cash balance and trial balance onto the accounting platform
  • Assist in year-end audit by providing backup documentation for sampling selected by client's auditors.
  • You’ll be responsible for reviewing capital activity that pertains to the funds including capital calls, distributions, rebalances and transfers
  • You’ll prepare and review fee calculations including management fees, administration fees and carried interest calculations
  • Ensure all work undertaken complies with the Fund’s or Company’s documentation, relevant regulatory requirements
  • You’ll undertake company secretarial tasks such as preparation and organization of AGM’s, EGM’s and Board minutes, ensuring their smooth and timely running
  • Undertake general administration tasks for our clients
  • You will Respond to Investors and clients’ queries
  • Liaising with external parties and work closely with clients to resolve inquiries and ensure client satisfaction and work well in a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Management of board meetings, issuing agendas
  • Provision of Board Packs to Directors.
  • Annual filings in respect of Luxembourg vehicles.
  • Co-ordinate annual tax filings and input into board pack as well as Involvement in Tax filings
  • What you bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance / Accounting or Business or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous fund accounting experience, alternative investment, AIF, debt funds, AIF funds, fee calculation and reconciliation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • You are able to work in a team and ability to work under pressure
  • Added bonus if you have :

  • Good knowledge of German or French
  • Good knowledge in domiciliation is considered a plus and can be trained.
