  • Description of the position : The main objective of the Manager Maintenance & Construction function is to support the Group COO in terms of managing Pall Center’s Food, Department Store and Fuel assets to deliver the most optimal return and minimal down-time.

    You will also support the Group CEO / Group CFO in any other Real Estate asset, being already part of the Group or to be studied as a new potential asset.

    In this role you’re responsible for the preparation, planning, implementation and follow-up of maintenance and construction projects relating to our food stores, fuel stations, and department store.

    These projects include among others small construction, refurbishment, and new development activities.

    The position involves leading and developing the Maintenance & Construction team, and support them achieving their targets.

    Furthermore, as the Manager Construction & Maintenance, you will have to take care of achieving high customer service standards -

    focused on delivering excellent service to the business work efficiently, and deliver sustainable quality while ensuring projects are achieved within budgets and according to defined plans and timetables.

  • Responsibilities : The main responsibilities relating to the position of Manager Construction & Maintenance are : Lead and manage the Maintenance & Construction department;
  • Plan, coordinate and follow-up of all maintenance projects and construction projects; Deliver on, within pre-agreed timings, budgets, and project objectives;
  • Coordinate and lead / steer external suppliers / partners; Lead, Implement and Follow-up on multiple-years maintenance planning;
  • Accountable for costs relating to maintenance & construction projects; Supplier relationship management relating to maintenance & construction projects including tendering and selection;
  • Responsible for defining and follow-up on Pall Center’s Store - Program of Requirements; Liaise with the business concerning maintenance and construction projects and recommend prioritizations based on among others costs, complexity and urgency;
  • Responsible for internal process management / installing procedures concerning maintenance and construction activities; Requirements : The main requirements are : Master Degree in Engineering or Technical Business Administration;
  • Excellent project management skills and capabilities (incl.

    track records); Management experience in leading teams / people; Management and monitoring of partners and partnership agreements; Min.

  • 5 years’ experience in retail maintenance and construction projects; Good communication and stakeholder management skills;
