Investment Valuation Oversight Assistant Real Estate Audit in Luxembourg About the job You will support the Oversight Team who add value to the Real Estate (RE) Audit Dept and their Clients with the provision of specialist knowledge, insight and objectivity in support of the audit of financial statements.
You have excellent analytical and report writing skills, are motivated to develop a valuer mindset’ and build the requisite foundations to competently review investment valuations throughout Europe, the UK and wider international jurisdictions covering the main institutional asset classes.
You have gained an RICS accredited degree and have completed a RE valuation program as part of your studies. You have a keen interest in valuation and an appreciation of what constitutes relevant comparable evidence and its importance in the credibility of any valuation opinion.
You will gain exposure with Clients and Independent Valuers and will be involved in our processes to source further supporting information, and where necessary, challenge methods, assumptions, valuation rationale and conclusions with professional skepticism.
You will gain a working knowledge of the valuation professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements that are mandatory from a valuation perspective, and, develop a fundamental understanding of the principles of the Red Book Global, IVS and IFRS 13.

The position is offered on the basis of a 12 month fixed-term contract and will commence 15 September 2021. You will be required to relocate to Luxembourg for the duration of your contract.
