Scope and Purpose
Preparation of the offering and statutory documentation of managed UCITS / UCI productsDrafting and negotiating various agreements (including AIFM and investment agreements, distribution agreements, depositary agreements, administration agreements, ISDA, etc.
Preparation of various corporate legal documentation and organize corporate bodies' meetingsAdvise on a variety of legal issues across the business, including identifying as early as possible potential legal, regulatory, business or financial risks and proposing compliant and practical solutions to mitigate such risksDevelopment and regular update of standard contracts and contractual clausesResearch and anticipation of legal issues that could impact the Company's activities, give proactive advice to all Group stakeholdersActive participation in corporate and business development projectsLiaising with external legal advisers and regulatory authorities
Required Experience
Education requirement : Master's degree in law, preferably in banking and financial lawWork experience : At least 4-5 years' experience in asset management and funds legal role
Competencies Required
Significant experience in investment funds (UCITS / AIFs) and their service providersStrong knowledge of the laws and regulations impacting investment funds (UCITS / AIFs) and their service providersAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic business and regulatory environmentGood knowledge of computer-based tools (Word / Excel / Outlook / Power Point)Fluent in English with a second language such as Italian, German, French or SpanishAttention to detailResult and problem-solving orientedSolid organizational and analytical skills and the ability to adapt easilyExcellent communication skills and team player
