The opportunity We are currently looking for EHS Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will :
Provide leadership, influence, coaching, advice and technical expertise at every level of the organization in the management of EHS activities.
Coach and influence leadership to implement Global EHS strategy onsite, adapting site specificities (equipment, culture, risks etc.
by proposing annual action plan, KPI.
Implement, maintain and audit all EHS programs, ensuring a proper ownership, accountability and sustainability for each of them.
Be partner with operations to keep professional and environmental risks under an acceptable level through risk assessment, equipment upgrade project, training, organizational change etc.
Act as Travailleur Designe for Luxembourg sites).
Investigate all incidents (accidents, near misses, ) with appropriate stakeholders, coordinate countermeasures and implement preventive measures from other sites lessons learnt.
Follow up applicable regulation, inform all stakeholders accordingly and team with them to propose action plan to ensure compliance of operations and infrastructure.
To join our team you will need : Education : The candidate should have a Master Degree in Environment Health and Safety.
Proficiency in English and French is a must.
Good knowledge of German and / or Luxembourgish is desired.
Experience : 3-5 years previous experience in Industrial Environment.
Skills & Qualifications :
Travailleur Designé Groupe C desired.
Strong EHS technical knowledge on one of the following : Machine safety, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics.
Strong communication, capability to explain and teach complex concepts.
Ability to influence others.
