We are currently looking for a highly analytical, creative and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join its ever-growing Operations Finance team at our European headquarters in the vibrant city of Luxembourg.
Position Description In the Amazon EU fulfillment network, we utilize inventory transfers to accelerate delivery speed for our customers and achieve the lowest fulfillment cost.
The Senior Finance Analyst will work with business partners cross-functionally from supply chain, transportation and fulfillment centers to optimize every inventory unit transferred within the Amazon EU fulfillment network.
He / She will drive insight through analysis and controls, leading to implementation of actions to build or refine processes that improve the customer experience and lower cost for the benefit of our customers.
The role is broad in scope and will require an individual who is motivated to make an impact.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Amazon motto to Work Hard.
Make History. Role Responsibilities Establish and maintain financial controls and processes via continuous auditing and reporting of both the inputs into and outputs of inventory transfers decisions for all Amazon EU transshipment.
Enhance and scale existing tools, develop agile processes, design and implement new solutions.
Develop next generation operational and financial metrics or dashboards.
Lead continuous cost improvements and track savings.
Present, defend and gain support for these initiatives from senior management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 6+ years’ experience within a highly analytical role within a fast-paced metrics driven environment Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models Ability to perform complex analysis and communicate results across a cross-
functional stakeholder organization.
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
Intermediate SQL experience.
