Goal The overall goal of this role is to ensure Globality’s compliance with relevant international, European and national laws and regulations as well as Group Minimum Standards within the insurance industry.

This position reports to the Risk Manager.

Responsibilities Compliance : Ensure the company fulfills Solvency II defined tasks within the compliance area, i.e.

monitoring, advice, early warning and risk management.

  • Ensure implementation of a Compliance Management System ( CMS ) considering the Minimum Standards of the Group : Define the main goals of the CMS which must at least include : the adherence to external and internal requirements;
  • the prevention of liability and criminal liability risks; the prevention of reputational risks; the adequate management of conflicts of interests;
  • adequate protection of customer interest Define the domains in its responsibility.

  • The following domains need to be in direct responsibility of the Compliance Function : Code of conduct; Reputational risks;
  • Incentives / gifts / gratuities / invitations; Bribery / corruption; Anti-trust compliance; Fraud prevention; Sales compliance;
  • Anti-money laundering; Financial sanctions; Perform risk management for areas directly mapped to Compliance and implement relevant mitigation activities (maintaining Compliance Plan and Compliance Monitoring Plan).

    Maintain Interface Agreements with business lines having own responsibilities for dedicated compliance domains and support / monitor the compliance activities in the relevant areas.

    Perform an annual review of the Compliance Risk Analysis for business activities of the company under guidance of the Risk & Compliance Officer Ensure integration of antitrust Law Compliance (avoiding breaches of antitrust Law) and training of the relevant staff.

    Coordinate the alignment of ERGO Governance requirements within Globality, e.g.

    governance bodies as Board of Directors and Board of Management, Polices and Guidelines, etc.

    Support the Risk & Compliance Officer in being the interface of ERGO Regional Compliance Manager and Globality for compliance related fields.

    Draft, implement, monitor and update compliance-related guidelines Advise divisional units on their compliance obligations (data protection, fraud, financial sanctions, etc.

    Prepare compliance reports, overviews and statistics for the Management and the Board of Directors Train employees on compliance risks Deal with regulatory enquiries, proceedings, reporting and notifications Have an understanding of risk related topics in the context of business activities in the company where necessary Profile University degree in law, economics or finance-

    related fields 3 years of relevant compliance experience and / or experience in legal governance related matters, i.e.

    company / corporate secretary in the insurance or financial sector Experience in risk management related matters would be considered an asset Excellent analytical and communication skills Ability to present results in a comprehensible way Highly motivated and enjoy working in an intercultural environment Strong team player, dynamic and resilient with the ability to work independently.

    Flawless English and French, written and spoken.

    German and / or Spanish would be a distinctive asset
