Senior Finance Analyst Fixed Assets FP&A
The Amazon Customer Fulfilment Operations Finance team is seeking an ambitious and energetic Senior Finance Analyst to join the fast paced world of European Operations in our EU headquarters.

The position will drive Fixed Asset (CapEx and Depreciation) planning and reporting for EU. You will also be part of analyzing and approving Initiative investment opportunities within the Fulfillment Center network.
You will build reports and KPIs and bring key management information dashboards to the next level. In order to achieve that, you will work with internal business partners at all levels of the organization, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering and Planning teams.

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and lead Capital and Depreciation Budget Reviews, interacting with Senior Managers within Finance and Operations.
Lead the capex budgeting and forecasting efforts for the annual Operating Plan and for the 3 Year cycle.
Develop and publish key performance indicators and regular business metrics for CAPEX. Evaluate and implement opportunities for improving capacity planning inputs, process, and modeling.
Perform Month End, Quarter End and Year-end finance activities for Fixed Assets, in coordination with other Finance and Accounting teams.
Track all of EU Customer Fulfillment CapEx projects on a monthly basis and perform variance analysis versus plan and forecast risks and opportunities.
Work with Treasury to provide accurate forecasts for new projects to ensure proper and timely funding.
Support the Business on the Financial tools used for tracking projects, including budget management, budget transfers and troubleshooting.
Assess Initiatives investments within the Customer Fulfillment Network.
Proactively work with the Business Partners on root cause analyses and solution implementation.
Improve tools, processes, scale existing solutions, create new solutions as required based on stakeholder needs.
Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative area or other degree with equivalent experience.
7+ years of work experience.
Strong attention to detail, and the ability to self-start and self-motivate.
Strong work ethic with a high customer service ethic.

Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
Advanced skills in Excel is a must. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management.
Strong financial acumen including familiarity with accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various internal / external stakeholders.
Knowledge of Cognos, VBA, and SQL is a plus.
CIMA / CFA.
