The Quality & WCM Process Engineer will maintain the quality process under control and will improve it further thanks to the implementation of preventing process deviations and guidelines for reliability improvement.

As a member of the operational improvement team, the contribution of the Quality & WCM Process Engineer is naturally extended on other continuous improvement projects for the Rolling Mill 2 unit, including Health & Safety processes and guidelines as top priority at each level the activities.

The ideal candidate is therefore a dynamic team player committed to operate responsibly with respect to the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors and the communities.

Maint tasks :

  • monitor and analyze the effect of the fabrication process on the properties of the product by using advanced methods (Statistical Process Control) and by examining laboratory / test reports with support from Quality central department,
  • set up and maintain automatic visual management tools (control card, score cards, quality guidelines ),
  • ensure follow-up of quality actions plan shared with production / maintenance,
  • monitor corrective actions for quality improvement and reliability improvement, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders,
  • take part to projects for process / product improvement in order to mitigate quality risks during implementation and to achieve effectiveness,
  • evaluate and propose innovative techniques for measurements, recordings and analysis of key process parameters.
  • act as main contributor to deploy World Class Manufacturing pillars
  • Must haves :

    Education / Qualification : Master Engineering (Metallurgy / Material Science / Mechanics)

    Language : French (native / advanced) and English (native / advanced)

    Past experience : Project management, maintenance, production, R&D (overall technical knowledge (electricity, instrumentation ))

    Methodological skills : Statistical analysis of process data base, systematic problem solving

    Personal skills : Empathy, communicate effectively, influence and team spirit

    Management skills : Drive results, conflict management, decision quality and balance stakeholders

    And, experience with data software : in-depth Office 365, Power BI, Statistica, R; basic understanding of ISO9001
