In this role as Head of EU Retail Partnerships you will build and manage our partnerships strategy with some of the largest companies in the world.
This role will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing new collaboration opportunities and Think Big / long-term ideas with our most strategic partners.
You will be the single-threaded leader for the WWRR&S organization leading partner relationships across several teams in Consumer, Access Points, & Corp BD.
The right candidate stays on top of industry and competitive trends, and can execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive the right business outcomes while also improving our customer experience.
Our ideal candidate will have deep experience in business analytics, strategic relationship building, deal negotiation, and P / L management.
In addition, the candidate will enjoy improving customer experience for both partners and end users.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Define and execute on a strategic market development plan and ensure it's in line with the business strategic direction, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (product, finance, operations, marketing, partner teams, legal, etc.).
Build business development pipeline by engaging with key prospects and partners.
Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
Understand the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
Present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to expanding our reach in the retail industry.
Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group
Handle a high volume of engagements and interactions
Extensive business development experience negotiating large scale commercial contracts
Superior analytical skills, critical thinking, and willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done
Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
