We are currently recruiting an Investment Banking Associate to join Belair House, a multi-family office based in Luxembourg fully owned by BIL.

The successful candidates will work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in the mid-market segment.

Clients will include corporates, private clients and private equity firms. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to join a growing and ambitious team working on a broad range of Luxembourg and cross-border transactions, including sell-side, buy-side and fund-raising mandates.


  • Prepare financial analyses and models specifically valuation and LBO models
  • Prepare marketing materials, i.e. teaser and information memorandum, describing the key attributes of an investment opportunity
  • Prepare Q&A sessions and organize data-rooms
  • Be proactively involved in every phase of the deal process
  • Research potential buyers / investors / targets / opportunities and draft pitch materials
  • Prepare or review legal documents (engagement letter, NDA, LOI, SPA, shareholders’ agreement)
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and draft materials to present investment opportunities (private equity investments and alternative funds) to clients
  • Challenge senior colleagues on both commercial and technical aspects of transactions
  • Coordinate with internal functions to obtain all required approvals for the execution of transactions
  • Must Have Requirements


  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in corporate finance or similar experience gained in an investment bank, Big 4 or private equity firm
  • Previous transaction exposure with an understanding of the M&A transaction cycle
  • High quality standards, ensuring reliability of all materials and process execution
  • Ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, entrepreneurial mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
  • Understanding of financial statements, comparable companies, comparable transactions, DCF, and LBO models
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing legal documents is an asset
  • Perfect command of French and English; Fluency in Luxembourgish and / or German is an asset
  • Strong academic degree ; progress towards internationally recognized certifications (i.e CFA, CAIA, ACCA) is an asset
