Do you want to work in a Pan-EU, multi-product line setting overseeing selection expansion and delivery improvements alike?

Are you interested in working in a high impact role? Amazon EU is undertaking a multi-year effort to enhance the pan-European customer experience.

We aim to make all products in a given country available for sale on all of Amazon’s European websites in the language and currency of the customer’s choice.

As Senior Product Management, you will be responsible for driving several projects that are part of this multi-year vision.

The successful candidate will be an analytically driven team player who is motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Improve the international customer shopping experience for customers in Extra-EU countries that are currently not served by a dedicated website by driving key Extra-
  • EU Expansion initiatives (incl. delivery experience, payments, 3P, customer service)

  • Expand the range of products offered for our Extra-EU export customers leading cross-functional projects to unlock selection.
  • Prepare and analyze financial metrics to improve profitability and revenue growth; perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision making;
  • work to improve data quality and develop new reporting tools to provide better business visibility

  • Participate in day-to-day operational aspects of the EU exports business, including suggesting and executing business improvement initiatives, and gathering and addressing customer feedback.
  • Location

    The position is based in Amazon’s EU Headquarters in the city of Luxembourg. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a diverse and multicultural country located in the heart of Europe, bordered by France, Belgium and Germany.

    This role will part of the Luxembourg retail team and will report to the Senior Manager, EU Expansion.

  • University degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business, economics or related areas
  • 4-8 years of work experience, of which at least 2 years’ experience analyzing and improving the performance of a business
  • Demonstrable data-driven decision-making and strong quantitative analysis skills, practical experience of SQL and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with stakeholders distributed globally (program management experience)
  • Intense customer focus
  • Hands-on, results-oriented mentality, combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work in international cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Experience in online retailing
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • MBA from a leading business school
  • Language skills in other European languages (German, French, Italian) are a plus
