Category Manager Property Management Services

Location Luxembourg

As a Category Manager Property Management Services you will manage the procurement for Vodafone local markets, Vodafone partner markets and third party business for Property Management Services and you Lead for cross functional and cross category programmes.

Together with the team you conduct sourcing activities for the categories Facility Management; Capital Projects, Retail Operations, Real Estate Leasing.

That responsibility includes strategic and operational focus across 20+ markets with an annual total expenditure of €1.5+ billion.

You will

  • Develop procurement category strategies, get buy in from relevant senior stakeholders and execute those strategies
  • Proactively drive enforcement of category strategy, identification and realisation of savings opportunities by working with Vodafone’s management, key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with senior Property, Retail and Technology communities at group and local market level and ensure continuous alignment on the objectives
  • Use best practices for operational excellence, improved customer experience and savings
  • Develop, implement and continuously evolve industrial approach in processes and tools required for the end-to-end category management
  • Drive end-to-end sourcing projects including complex contractual and pricing models.
  • Act as a focal point for the performance management of global and local suppliers.
  • It would be nice if you have

  • Excellent communications and relationship building skills and a talent for maintaining communications and engagement with virtual teams (Property, Retail, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain etc.
  • including effective influencing and persuasion skills.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesise and present key messages to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent procurement & negotiation skills combined with the drive to make decisions and finalise deals.
  • Out of the box thinking and creativity that brings continuous innovation to the programme including the creation of benefit opportunities and the development of new commercial levers.
  • You must have

  • Master’s degree or equivalent level qualification. MCIPS qualification is an advantage
  • Strong business acumen with relevant job experience and supply chain background
  • Ability to manage overall delivery across multiple functions and geographies, providing delivery rigour and challenge as required.
  • Category knowledge and expertise in at least one of the categories (Facility Management or Capital Projects or Retail or Real Estate Leasing) preferred
  • Skills to act as an Intelligent team player who is able to engage with business stakeholders at all levels and driving change
